More shenanigans re: mom's ongoing battle with spam.

"WHAT'S AN SSL CERTIFICATE THIS GUY EMAILS ME EVERY DAY SAYING I NEED ONE TO GET ON FACEBOOK I DON'T LIKE THIS WHAT'S GOING ON."

This led into a very long and involved conversation about how google spiders work, how bots work, and why Facebook is the evil empire when it comes to selling personal data.

She turns to me and says "So...this Justin guy who emails me every day, he's not a real person?"

"Do you know him personally?"

"Well, no."

"Then he's likely a bot, mom."

"...what's that?"

...................and then I smashed my head repeatedly into drywall the end.

Can you block his email address so she just stops getting the damn things?

I'm at Mum's right now and she's making up for all the times she doesn't get tech support from me by whinging about everything from how shitty the Ticketmaster website is (to be fair it is pretty bad) to why the Yahoo homepage moved some stuff around.

In short, I feel your pain. In a very immediate sense of the term.
